Maple Syrup Producer

Our client produces maple syrup locally in the Hudson Valley. They were recently offered the opportunity to produce the in-house syrup for one of the largest retailers in the world. This means that the retailer would be selling our client’s product under their company’s brand name.

Problem

This opportunity presented a new challenge for our client. Their syrup would be sold in new bottles and distributed further than before. Their current packaging was not made to fit the shape of the new flat Gardi bottle, and they would need to rethink how to ship their syrup while minimizing the risk of damage. 

Solution

The Customer asked the Viking Sales and Design team to evaluate their current packaging. After several meetings with the Maple Syrup team, our sales professionals were able to evaluate the customers' objectives and develop a packaging solution that exceeded their expectations. Together, we were able to develop packaging for their new bottle and maintain the integrity of their brand. 

Luckily for our client, Viking is one of the only partition manufacturers in the northeast. We designed a custom corrugated partition for their nine-pack boxes, as well as the master case. The new packaging allowed the flat bottles to fit in a way that minimized damage during shipping to retail locations worldwide.

Result
