Viking’s 50th Year

As we close the chapter on 2023, it's a momentous occasion for Viking Packaging, marking our 50th year in business. From our modest start in a converted cow barn in 1973 to our current state-of-the-art facilities, our growth has been both organic and extraordinary. Throughout this time, the core values that have been our compass, unwavering customer service, community support, and integrity in every endeavor, have kept us on the right track.

Over the decades, we've nurtured a culture of continuous learning and team building, consistently investing in our employees’ skills and well-being. This commitment to our staff is evidenced by several long-serving team members, with tenures ranging up to 40 years.

Viking has grown to 80 employees from the initial 5. Despite numerous challenges, Viking has not only survived but thrived over the years. It's a legacy of resilience and innovation, a testament to the people behind our success.

AICC Membership Milestone Recognition

This year also marks another significant achievement as Viking Packaging proudly became a Milestone Recipient with the AICC. This recognition from The Independent Packaging Association is a nod to our enduring presence and contribution to the corrugated, folding carton, and rigid box industries.

Our Latest Expansion

2023 saw the exciting inauguration of our new facility expansion. This state-of-the-art addition has enhanced our box production capabilities, promising faster deliveries and increased flexibility for our clients. Our commitment to efficiency and superior service continues as we optimize and reconfigure our existing equipment, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of innovation in our industry.

Celebrating Our Employees

Our success is deeply rooted in the dedication and hard work of our employees. This year, we celebrated significant anniversaries for several team members. We proudly celebrated Joseph Lazzaro's incredible 40 years of service, a journey marked by his expertise and steadfast dedication. Equally noteworthy, Roger La Forge, Robert Fuller, Vandel Fuller, David Phillips, and Jason Quick each reached significant tenure milestones, collectively embodying over a century of loyalty and excellence in their respective roles. Throughout the year, we celebrated all of our employees with events like our employee appreciation breakfast and summer barbecue. We look forward to continuing to foster a sense of community and appreciation within our Viking family.
